Frequently asked questions
Which ages do you take?
From six weeks to three years, in two rooms: the Infant room and the Toddler room.
Can we tour?
Yes. Book a tour on any weekday, bring your baby and ask anything.
What does a day look like?
Arrival, play, feeds and meals, rest, outdoor time and pickup.
Are you licensed, and what does that mean?
Nuzzle is licensed by Maine's child care licensing office as a child care center. A copy hangs by the front door for you to read.
How many children does each teacher care for?
Every age group has its own number of children for each teacher, set by the state. Ask about it at your tour.
How does tuition work?
It depends on the age group and the days you choose. We give you the figures in writing at your tour.
What if my child is ill?
Please keep your child home with a fever, vomiting or a rash you can't explain, and for a full day after the symptoms end.
Who may pick up my child?
Only the people on your written list. We ask anyone we don't know for ID.
Do you share photos of children?
Only with your written permission.
How do I join the waitlist?
Write or call and tell us the room and the days you hope for. We call families in the order they joined when a place opens.
